Curse and Swear

Solitude is

about attitude

about living

with the ghost

of your former self

all her cares

all joys

all.

But all is not lost–

in that vast inner sky

brightly, observing

from somewhere

on high,

looking down

upon a sea

glistened-eternity.

All I see is me.

Narcissus is watching

and she is me

and I am thee.

----

They try to shame a woman

for liking what she sees

when she sees

what she sees

when she watches

the stars go by

on celestial breeze

–down on her knees

keeping time

with the trees.

---

Don't go there, please.

----

Zeus casts a mighty glare–

Ashes flying through the air.

Jewish hands embrace them there

and children

of the Holocaust

begin

to

curse

and

swear,

standing there

in eternal flare.
